Partner program
Last updated 24 October 2026
If you write for people who plan family meals on a budget, you can recommend Dinner Plan with your own link and earn a share of what your readers pay. These are the terms of the program. To join, see "How to apply" below; we confirm the terms by email when you join.
1. What you earn
- 30% of every payment a customer makes through your link, for the first 12 months of their subscription. That includes renewals: monthly payments and the yearly payment both count.
- Commission is worked out on the price before any sales tax or VAT. For example, on a $39.99 yearly plan you earn up to about $12.
- One-time plans count too: 30% of the price before tax.
2. How referrals are tracked
- You get a partner code such as
p001. Add it to any link to our site, for examplehttps://getdinnerplan.com/?src=p001orhttps://getdinnerplan.com/weeks/week-1-family-of-4?src=p001. - We don't use cookies for this. Your code travels in the links on our site, through the quiz and into the reader's plan link and checkout. If the reader emails their plan to themselves and comes back from that email, the code comes back with them.
- 60-day window: a payment counts for you if the reader built their plan from your link and pays within 60 days. If they leave and come back later in a different way, for example by typing our address, we can't tell that they came from you.
- One partner per payment: the commission goes to the partner whose link the reader used to build the plan they paid for.
- Customers who come back: if a customer you referred cancels and returns through one of our follow-up emails sent within those 60 days, their new subscription counts for you too, for its first 12 months.
3. When and how you're paid
- A commission is approved 30 days after the payment, once our 14-day refund window has passed. Refunded payments, and card disputes the customer wins, don't earn commission; if that happens after we've paid you, we take it off your next payment.
- We pay once a month, by Wise transfer, once your approved balance is at least $25 (or £20 for payments in pounds). Smaller balances carry over to the next month.
- Each month we send you the amounts and dates of the payments you referred. We never share who your readers are.
- You're responsible for any tax on what you earn. We may ask for the tax details the law requires before we pay you.
4. Rules
- Say it's a partner link. Make it clear, next to the link and before the reader clicks, that you earn a commission. In the US this is required by the FTC's Endorsement Guides; in the UK, by the CAP Code (for example, label the post or link "Ad" or "Affiliate link").
- No ads on our name. Don't bid on "Dinner Plan", "Escape Plan" or close variations in search ads, and don't use them in ad copy or domain names.
- No self-referral. Payments for your own account, or for people in your household, don't earn commission.
- Only true claims. Describe Dinner Plan as it is. Grocery totals are estimates, not promises; don't promise a specific saving, a health result or a discount we haven't given you.
- Paid ads only with permission. Sending paid ad traffic (search, social or native ads) to your link needs our written permission first.
- No spam. Don't send your link in unsolicited emails or messages, or post it where the site's rules don't allow it.
If these rules are broken, we can hold back commission on the affected payments and end the partnership. Either of us can end it at any time by email; approved commission you've already earned is still paid.
5. Changes
We may change these terms. We'll email you at least 30 days before a change affects what you earn; commission on payments made before the change is worked out under the old terms.
6. How to apply
Email hello@escapeplan.software with your site or channel and a line about your readers. We reply within 2 working days with your code. We can also give you free access, so you can try the full product before you write about it.
